GENVYX TECHNOLOGIES
Privacy Notice – Draft for Owner Review
DRAFT: The owner must review this notice before public launch and before enabling contact requests.
What the contact form collects
The form asks for your name, email address, optional phone number and company, service interest and message. Please do not include passwords or confidential documents.
How a request is handled
When the form is enabled, requests are saved in WordPress for authorised administrators to view. When email forwarding is configured, the contact details and full message are also sent to the business mailbox at info@genvyx.ca. They are used to discuss the request with you.
Details still to confirm
Before publishing this notice, confirm the responsible business contact, hosting and email providers, processing locations, retention period, deletion and backup procedures, cookies, analytics and any other integrations. This draft is not a complete or legally reviewed privacy policy.
Privacy questions
Email info@genvyx.ca with questions about information you have provided.
Careers expressions of interest
When enabled, the Careers form collects a name, email, optional phone and location, an area of interest, optional profile link and introduction, a PDF resume, and recorded consent. They are used to review potential candidates and contact them about relevant opportunities, not for marketing. Candidate details and resumes are held in an administrator-only WordPress job-seeker list. Each new submission is also queued for the business mailbox at info@genvyx.ca with the candidate details, the resume PDF attached, and protected administrator links. Email forwarding requires configured and verified business email delivery.
The WordPress job-seeker-list retention period is 180 days from submission. Expired records and stored resumes are removed by scheduled WordPress cleanup, with an administrator-visit fallback. Email messages and their attachments, mailbox backups, and downloaded or exported copies are not removed by WordPress cleanup and need a separate approved retention and deletion process. Removal requests can be sent to info@genvyx.ca. Confirm these processes, privacy contacts and hosting arrangements before opening submissions.
Email updates and promotional consent
When promotional email signup is enabled, the form collects an email address, optional first name and company, a topic of interest, the source page, the time of consent and the exact consent wording shown. A consultation request is not added to the promotional list unless the person separately uses this signup form.
Subscriber records are held in an administrator-only WordPress list and are used for practical IT tips, service updates and occasional GENVYX offers. Each subscriber can withdraw consent using an unsubscribe link or by emailing info@genvyx.ca. The subscription status and consent record are retained while the person is subscribed and may be retained as needed to document an unsubscribe request. Exported copies and any future email provider require their own approved access, retention and deletion process.
Before enabling signup or sending promotional email, the owner must add a valid business mailing address, approve this privacy notice, confirm the email provider and ensure each commercial message identifies GENVYX and includes a working unsubscribe mechanism. This draft is not legal advice.
Blog comments and likes
If you leave a blog comment, WordPress collects the name, email address and comment you provide, along with technical information such as your IP address and browser user agent for moderation and spam prevention. Your name and approved comment may appear publicly; your email address is not published. You can choose whether WordPress saves a convenience cookie for future comments. All comments are reviewed before publication.
If you select Like, the site saves a first-party browser cookie containing article identifiers so the same browser cannot repeatedly like the same article. It does not contain your name or email address and is not used for advertising. Sharing uses your device’s share feature or copies the article address; GENVYX does not receive a list of who you share it with.
